B&I Operations Supervisor

Newrest is recruiting a B&I Operations Supervisor for its activities in Costa Rica.

Under the supervision of the B&I / Retail Director, you will have responsibility for the management and business development in the sector of B&I catering.

Your main mission consists in managing 10 sites in B&I catering sector and developing the customer portfolio in your sector independently. You oversee the careful delivery of services, within budget and food hygiene and safety standards.

MISSIONS:

  • Animate the operational teams (evaluation, training, evolution) by promoting the quality of customer service, performance, responsiveness, development of turnover
  • Ensure the improvement of profitability ratios of the various sites
  • Participate in the implementation of the Group's strategy

 

  • Economic function:
    • Monitor its weekly / monthly and annual Profit Site and ensure regular reporting
    • Recommend corrective actions and improvement actions
    • Achieve budget targets
  • Human Resources Function:
    • Manage the organization of his team's work (planning, holidays, etc.)
    • Ensure the interface with the HR Service and control the transmission of the necessary documents (leaves, illnesses, check-ins, etc.)
    • Check the monthly pay scores
    • Define training needs annually
    • Collaborate in the recruitment of staff with the HR Service
    • Ensure compliance with the internal regulations
    • Animate, train and develop middle management
    • Monitor the social context
  • Management function:
    • Manage your team and recognize individual performance
    • Animate, direct and involve staff
    • Communicate, inform, motivate on common goals
    • Evaluate and develop skills
  • Commercial / Sales Function:
    • Ensure effective customer follow-up and ensure overall satisfaction
    • Ensure the conformity of the service about contractual commitments
    • Participate in responses to calls for tenders
    • Participate in the business development plan
    • Be proactive in proposing new catering concepts
    • Be responsible for the good performance of the sites (promotion and presentation of products, sufficient quantities, compliant staff uniforms and quality of reception and service, etc.)
  • Food Quality / Safety Function:
    • Be responsible for compliance with HACCP-type hygiene rules
    • Participate in hygiene audits and propose corrective actions based on the results
    • Regular reporting to General Management and QHSE Management
  • Financial function:
    • Objective overdue to zero (customer accounts)
    • Be responsible for the regularity of the funds in the context of the Group's financial rules
    • Develop the monthly management and ensure the weekly interface with the Accounting Department
    • Control and participate in the reliability of inventories

PROFILE:

  • Ideally trained in hospitality / catering, you must have a first successful experience in multi-site management in the sector B&I
  • Master Degree in International Business
  • Your mastery of the culinary professions combined with interpersonal skills, your listening skills, your availability, your enthusiasm and ability to lead a networked team will allow you to enroll in the company's development projects.
  • Your interpersonal skills, your negotiating skills, your fighting spirit will allow you to achieve your objectives and retain customers in your sector
  • Sense of organization, method and respect of local constraints
  • Spanish and English fluent, French is a plus
  • Experience of the life cycle of contract from bidding, costing, lobbying and mobilization
  • Excellent computers skills
  • Dynamic, extroverted, results oriented

CONTRACT: Permanent contract - Starting date as soon as possible

LOCATION: Position located in San Jose – Costa Rica

SALARY: Depending on experience and profile
