- To assist in the preparation of salads, Cold sandwiches to be served at specified times.
- To ensure timely pre-preparation / mis-en-place (wash, clean, cut vegetables, fruits, Cheeses) as per set menu and within the set cost.
- Prepares dressings, for example to be served on green salads, fruits, melons and gelatin desserts
- To ensure quality, quantity and hygienic food is served with particular emphasis on presentation. To try and ensure minimum / no wastage (excess food balance).
- To ensure that all equipment and materials are not left in dangerous state.
- To ensure all HSE rules & procedures are followed and hazards/near miss and accidents are properly reported.
- To raise HSE/Hazard awareness by actively participating in all HSE meetings.
- Requisitions supplies daily.
- 10 years’ experience in cooking with reputable hotels / catering organization in the preparing, garnishing and serving Lebanese and Oriental varieties of salad, mezzah and cold / Hot Starters food.
- Good understanding of ISO food standards or HACCP food standards.
- Good command in English for writing reading and speaking.
- Good knowledge and experiences in fine dining and large scale various parties & functions.
- To be of Middle Eastern nationality. (Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian)
