DZ Truck Drivers needed!

Newrest Canada is currently seeking DZ Truck Drivers to join our vibrant Toronto Office.

Newrest, one of the world's leading experts in onboard catering, has been providing inflight catering services in Canada since 2009. Today the Group operates three production sites in the country, including one in Toronto.

Founded in 1996, Newrest sells its expertise in 49 countries: Newrest is the only caterer active in all catering and related hospitality segments, including inflight, rail and group catering, retail, buy on board, duty free, remote site and support services.

We are currently recruiting DZ drivers to join our team. This role would include:

• Driving the company truck to Toronto Pearson International Airport
• Loading and unloading of merchandise
• Ensuring deliveries are on track and in line with safety compliance
• Completing pre-trip inspection reports and performing safety checks as required
• Loading of goods in accordance to airline provided galley plans
• Securing of goods with aircraft sealing materials
• On job training of new joiners

Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Driving License
• DZ / AZ license
• Clean Driving Record
• DA/AVOP required
• RAIC required

Applicants must:

• be a team player
• be able to work outdoors in various temperatures
• obtain Transportation Security Clearance (TSC)
• Lift and maneuver loads of 10kg+
• be proficient in English language
• possess good knowledge of HACCP (optional, training can be provided)
• be able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• flexible schedules to work mornings, evenings and weekends
