In Philippines, Newrest gives test kits to population during the pandemic
The pandemic has hit the world for over a year now. Covid-19 test kits are helping a lot to detect and prevent it. Newrest plays its role of leader by staying alongside partners and humans since the beginning of the global slow down. In this context, Newrest donated test kits to disabled populations in Philippines.
Newrest SOS offers test kits in Philippines and cares for the affected communities
Newrest Supply Oilfield Services, Inc., is Newrest’s sister company in India and Philippines. It has donated over 100 Covid-19 test kits to JCI Philippines, a non-profit organisation helping affected communities. The test kits have been turned over to The Missionaries of the Poor. It is a home for elderly and kids with disabilities. This kind of initiative is particularly active in these times of pandemic. Newrest SOS’ gesture is indeed an essential action to take for a large group to help the population at its level. The company is proud of this initiative and encourage its actors to stand together.
Solidarity: a valuable value during the pandemic
Solidarity has been a Newrest SOS’ core value for over 40 years. This echoes other Newrest’s key values such as humility and responsibility. Despite its international reach, the group strives to reflect its beliefs and inspirations in its daily actions. The pandemic is no exception for Newrest to stay loyal to its commitments, through ecological duty, humanitarian gestures or sporting passions.
