Newrest enters into an agreement to acquire Sodexo Morocco and its activities

Newrest has entered into an agreement to acquire Sodexo Maroc SA through its Moroccan subsidiary Newrest Maroc Services SA. Closing of the transaction is subject to the approval of Moroccan antitrust authorities. In 2020, Sodexo Maroc SA’s average number of employees was 1381. Thanks to this acquisition and its partnership with Rahal Group, Newrest intends to pursue its development in Morocco in the sectors of contract catering, facility management, inflight catering, airport restaurant concessions and on-board train catering.
