On the 14th of September, our teams from the central kitchen were mobilized for a “catering” event for 600 people at the international fair of Port-Gentil on the occasion of the 10th anniversary celebration of the ONAL field of Maurel & Prom Gabon.
The local authorities were present for the occasion (The Minister of Petroleum and Hydrocarbons, the Governor of Ogooué Maritime Province, the Mayor of Port-Gentil) but also the top management of Maurel & Prom with Michel Hochard, General Manager of Maurel & Prom, Christian KOUBDJE, CEO of Maurel & Prom Gabon and Jean-Yves Graal, CEO of ASSALA Gabon.
Our client had selected two Caterers for this celebration: Royal Cost and Newrest Gabon.
Our teams were responsible for the VIP square (60 guests), the bar service (600 guests) and the catered meal for 300 guests.
The catering service was based on the theme of international gastronomy (Africa, Europe, Asia) with a show cooking service (cooking minute in the sight of the customer) to entertain the guests.
Salad Bar, charcuterie buffet, spit lamb, grilled meats, local food buffet (bush boar, salted fish, Folon), cheese platters and desserts were on hand for the occasion.
We are happy to have been able to participate in this great event after long negotiations to be retained with this oil customer who is so far the only one not to consult us on its onshore sites.
We are confident for the continuation of our collaboration with Maurel & Prom after the success of such a service.
