Newrest Gabon celebrates on its sites 60 years of Gabon’s Independence
This year Gabon celebrated 60 years of its independence. This date is particularly important for the country.
Unlike in previous years and following the health crisis linked to Covid, no parade was possible. Gabon is still in partial containment and prohibits regroupings by making it compulsory to wear a mask and respect the curfew from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
We used to offer a catering offer via our central kitchen to our customers in Port-Gentil: Total, Addax… Unfortunately, this year, our customers were unable to ask us for this type of service.
Nevertheless, all of our sites, on land and at sea, celebrated this holiday to bring joy and good humor to the teams who have often been stranded on site for 42 days!
For the occasion, special menus and decorations of our restaurants in the colors of Gabon were offered.
