Newrest Group inaugurates its new “Kalolo” catering concept in the restaurant at the Vale mining site in Goro, New Caledonia.
This new modern concept imagined by the group’s marketing teams meets the needs expressed by the Vale group’s management as part of its business plan.
“Kalolo is more than a concept, it is a hospitality model in which each resident of the Goro site must be able to relax, be entertained, and recharge their batteries by means of comfortable living spaces, solutions and services, facilitating their day-to-day life” explains Pascal Régimbaud (Newrest VP Remote Site).
True place of life and meeting, the restaurant has 500 seats, 2 self-service distribution spaces incorporating several stands including pizza and show cooking.
Each day, Newrest teams serve 2,000 meals distributed between the Kalolo restaurant and its 7 satellites. Newrest is also in charge of the hotel industry (1,200 rooms), the laundry room, the management of the green spaces and the small maintenance of the site.
