Newrest restarts its inflight catering services to Qantas in Johannesburg
2022 began on a running start for Newrest in South Africa: on the 6th of January, the team celebrated the resumption of inflight catering services for the airline Qantas.
The Newrest team located in Johannesburg worked tirelessly on the preparation of Qantas’ arrival and catering servicing. The Australian airline hadn’t operated for over two years due to very stringent COVID restrictions in Australia. Thus, this was a rather special occasion with Qantas operating a stunning 787 aircraft.
Newrest provides inflight catering services 3 times a week with 3 meals on-board: a hot Dinner, Snack and Breakfast in all 3 cabins – BC, Premium and Economy.The Group and its collaborators are very privileged to have on site support of members of the Qantas Inflight Services team.
Thanks to collaboration and teamwork, the Qantas start-up was a tremendous success.
