Newrest South Africa re-started operations with Air Namibia and Air Seychelles
Another big news in South Africa! After the several new customers who started in October, Air Namibia and Air Seychelles, long-time customers of Newrest, have resumed operations.
On Friday October 30th Newrest South Africa resumed service to Air Namibia from Johannesburg (1 Flight a week) and Cape Town (twice a week). Air Namibia has been customer of Newrest in South Africa for several years and has also agreed to a further contract extension.
On Saturday November 7th we also resumed servicing Air Seychelles with a weekly flight from Johannesburg.
Those restarts are welcomed in the COVID 19 affected market albeit with a much-reduced schedule. Air Namibia used to fly double daily to Cape Town and 3 a day in Johannesburg while Air Seychelles had a daily operation.
