Newrest’s contract catering offer seduces world leader Lafarge in the Maghreb

Newrest has become the only catering service provider to the 3 LAFARGE HOLCIM plants in Algeria: M’sila, Oggaz and Biskra. This new contract comes in addition to the two already active in Meknes and Tangier, respectively signed in 2001 and 2008. A successful test period with the client during 2021 allowed Newrest to transform the trial in Algeria.

While in Morocco, 160 meals per day are served at lunch and at the cafeteria, Newrest is committed to providing 920 services per day divided between lunch and dinner in Algeria. The M’sila site ris the largest mobilization for the caterer: in addition to the 360 daily meals, domestic cleaning services for the factory’s offices and workshops are included in the contract.

While the catering concept “Les p’tits plats du Chef” creates a warm and friendly atmosphere in the Algerian restaurants, a digital application allowing the presentation of menus, animation and satisfaction surveys will soon be deployed on the three sites.

These innovations are aimed at improving the guests’ experience and satisfaction.
