Newrest manages multiples hubs for leading airlines in northern America and Europe. A hub is an airport chosen by an airline as the point of departure and arrival of its aircraft. The aircraft and crew are based within these airport infrastructures.

Airlines takes advantage of their hubs to tune their operation to guaranty the on-time departure of their aircraft and to be perceived by their passenger as a reliable transport company.

Newrest is integrated in the airline operational value chain and needs to deliver its services on time, in full and error free. One of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is the On Time Performance (OTP).

Perpetual improvement is a pilar of Newrest integrated management system that is at the basis of its quality approach. Years after years, Newrest teams worldwide are fine tuning their way of working, taking advantage of the latest innovations from systems (winrest- in house ERP) and technology (cobots and robots) as well as continuous training.

As in sport, efforts pay!

Last week, Newrest Canada managed to reach the outstanding performance of 99.78% of On Time Performance for the month of May 2023 out of the Air Canada hub in Montreal!

In other words, 99.78% of Air Canada aircrafts received Newrest services on time!

As a sporteam, the goal of Newrest’s team is to maintain such performance throughout the summer when the activity out of Montreal is at its peak.
