Newrest bought 50% of Uganda Inflight Services and took over Management since 18th September 2011 onwards.
A brand new unit of 2,300 m2 has been built and operates since November 2012. Newrest Uganda produces 3,200 meals a day.
The brand new kitchen is 22000:2018 and 9001:2015 ISO certified, Yum Certified, Halal compliant and close to the ramp.
This kitchen has been designed according to the highest standards of food safety, efficiency and productivity.
Newrest Uganda’s main activity is inflight catering. Meals in bulk for Retail and B&I are also produced in the unit.
