Founded in 2014, Newrest Guyana began its operations offshore with a single FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading unit). Since then, the company has significantly expanded its footprint, now operating across four FPSOs, two drilling rigs, and one onshore Business & Industry (B&I) site. As the first international catering service provider in Guyana, Newrest has reinforced its local engagement since 2022 through its integration into the GATE Consortium (Guyanese Achieving Togetherness Enterprise). Its client portfolio includes major industry players such as SBM Offshore, Noble Drilling, and ExxonMobil Guyana. Newrest Guyana focuses on continuous staff development and local capacity building, aligning its operations with both international standards and national growth objectives.
