Winrest our enhanced ERP

Winrest is at the heart of Newrest's innovation strategy, designed to optimize the management of our activities in the face of complex processes and growing customer expectations.

Launched in 2015, our ERP simplifies logistics, traceability, production planning through to delivery, while being compatible with most airline catering management systems. Thanks to its versatility and customization options, Winrest ensures seamless integration with back-office systems, such as those of government platforms. This ensures efficiency, independence and agility within the Newrest Group. Winrest connects all systems and centralizes client data, while generating instructions for our robots at Digital Factory, reinforcing our ability to respond rapidly to new operational challenges.

Our Digital Factory solution transforms our production unit by connecting customer data directly to our production unit. The aim of this ambitious project is to improve decision-making and reduce production costs by optimizing our internal processes. In addition, by freeing our staff from repetitive tasks, we enable them to concentrate on high value-added activities, thus increasing the efficiency and performance of our operations.

Our teams remain at the heart of the system, reinforced by digital tools that amplify their know-how, creativity and responsiveness. It is this collaboration between human and machine that ensures the success and agility of our model.

Newrest reinvents production and pushes the limits of performance

Newrest is undergoing an acceleration and a major shift in terms of industrial innovation. What does Digital Factory represent for the Group?

MC: Since 2015, Newrest has been committed to digitizing its activities by integrating robotic automation into its production unit. In March 2023, the group took a decisive step forward by fully equipping its Paris-Orly (Wissous) site, dedicated to its customer Transavia, with advanced technologies.

When we built our new 14,000 m² unit in Madrid, we added an extra layer of complexity by integrating advanced technologies to enable a multi-company approach.

The culmination of 10 years of innovation has enabled us to launch the construction of a new Digital Factory in Sucy-en-Brie. This site is dedicated to catering on board trains, and aims to reproduce and adapt for the rail sector the innovative model we developed at Wissous for the inflight sector.
