Newrest Group started its activites in 2020 entering the inflight catering market with 2 brand-new units - at Sao Paulo (GRU) and Rio de Janeiro (GIG) International Airports.

In Brazil, the group observed notable growth in just four years.
From one client and 34 employees in 2020 (during the pandemic) to 700 employees and 5 clients in 2025, Newrest Brazil has known a remarkable growth.
In March 2025, the company began operating the LATAM VIP lounge in Terminal 3 of Guarulhos Airport (GRU), which accommodates more than 1,800 passengers daily. In May 2025, the company started operating with British Airways, increasing its market share in the segment.

For two consecutive years, Newrest Rio de Janeiro Inflight unit was recognized was recognized with the “Onboard Services International Large Station” award by its client Delta Air Lines, a global distinction that highlights excellence among stations worldwide.
Additionally, the company hosted the Chef Unlimited São Paulo event, which brought together international chefs for two days of collaborative cooking, experience sharing, and techniques learning.
