Located at Oslo Airport (OSL), Newrest’s Norwegian catering unit has been fully operational since December 2022, serving as the dedicated inflight catering facility for SAS. The unit handles up to 115 short- and long-haul flights daily, ensuring timely and high-quality meal delivery. Designed and managed by Newrest’s International Technical Department, the 2,000 m² facility is strategically positioned airside, offering direct aircraft access, four loading/unloading docks, and cutting-edge biometric technology to streamline operations. This modern infrastructure reflects Newrest’s commitment to combining technological innovation with culinary expertise, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for SAS and a benchmark for inflight services in the region.
