Founded in 1996 under the name Catair, the Newrest group, chaired by Olivier Sadran, is today the only operator active in all sectors of catering and related services: airline catering, buy-on-board, onboard duty free, concession catering, remotes sites and Facility Management services, rail catering, airport and motorway concessions.
With a workforce of 60,380 employees in 53 countries and sales of €2.5 billion in 2024, Newrest Group is also the world’s leading independent airline caterer.
At present, 97.35% of the Our organisation’s capital is held by its management. Naxicap, which has been involved with Newrest for over 20 years, holds 2.65% of the capital.

Our organization is deeply focused on customer satisfaction, an essential objective that guides all our operations. Structured around three divisions and nine distinct regions, it enables us to maintain a close, personalised relationship with each customer.

This approach means we can respond to the specific needs of each market, while promoting the sharing of best practices and innovation, which is fully in line with the Group’s vision.

The development of managers is a priority in order to guarantee strong operational responsibility at national level. Today, over 600 managers are shareholders in the group.
