Newrest’s history in France was initially built around catering air, with a strategic presence in major hubs such as Paris-Orly and Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle airports. In 2010, the group broadened its scope with the acquisition of Wagons-Lits, marking its entry into the catering rail market, where it is now a key player.
Since 2015, Newrest has also developed its onshore services, including maintenance, cleaning and waste management, rounding out its multiservice offering. In 2016, the group strengthened its position in catering concédée with the integration of recognized French players such as Apetito, Coralys and Isidore, enabling it to broaden its offer in catering collective, both in the private and institutional sectors.
Every day, Newrest teams design tailor-made solutions, promoting home cooking, fresh produce and short supply chains, while integrating strong commitments to sustainable development.
