Inflight catering remains the core activity across all three units, providing tailored services for a wide range of long-haul, regional, and charter flights. Since 2017, Newrest’s Johannesburg and Cape Town units have been ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certified, with two dedicated production lines designed to meet specific Western and Halal dietary requirements. In 2021, the Durban unit also earned ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 certification.

Newrest South Africa raises awareness for breast cancer

Norse Atlantic Airways takes off again from Cape Town
On October 2nd, Newrest marked the relaunch of inflight catering services for Norse Atlantic Airways, supporting flight ZO796 departing from Cape Town.
