Newrest has been present in Gabon since 2009, where its activities began mainly in remote areas, before diversifying into catering and Facility Management. Today, Newrest Gabon stands out for its expertise in catering, hotel management and Facility Management, offering comprehensive services adapted to the most demanding environments. Our organisation also operates on a dozen life bases, both onshore and offshore, on behalf of major oil operators.

The company currently employs 583 people and serves 3,600 meals a day.

In 2024, Newrest strengthened its local commitment by inaugurating a training center (CDF) in Port-Gentil. Equipped with a hot kitchen, a cold kitchen and an application room, this center provides training in all the company’s businesses. It is a real lever for talent development, offering continuous, comprehensive and tailor-made training to its teams.

In addition, Newrest Gabon carries out a number of initiatives in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR), notably to reduce food waste and improve living conditions in local communities. Thanks to its proven expertise and sustainable approach, Newrest has established itself as a benchmark partner in the catering and service sectors in Gabon.
