Newrest operates daytime trains both on board and ashore, with a diversified range of services. Whether through its on-board offer, digital innovations or entertainment, every aspect is designed to maximize passenger comfort and satisfaction.

On night trains, Newrest manages all services. In addition to logistics and supplies, the group provides train and bed linen cleaning, as well as on-board hospitality services.

Newrest Wagons-Lits commitment in France

Newrest Wagons-Lits’ commitments to the environment in the rail sector include reducing food waste by reusing organic bio-waste, introducing waste sorting, and a zero paper policy. Our organisation favors local and responsible purchasing, and is committed to a plastic-free transition.
For example, at Bar TGV INOUI, our CSR commitments translate into: 100% of our meat is of French origin, all our eggs come from free-range hens, our ham has no added nitrite salt, the milk for our yogurts is collected less than 10 km from the processing site, and our apples are harvested less than 30 km from the workshop.
