As part of its development strategy in the mining and energy sectors, Newrest recently participated in several major events across three continents. These gatherings highlighted the group’s expertise in managing remote site operations and catering services in isolated environments, while strengthening key partnerships with industry stakeholders.

The IMARC (International Mining and Resources Conference) 2025 was held in Sydney from October 21 to 23. As Australia’s leading mining event, IMARC brings together global industry leaders, government representatives, and solution providers to discuss trends, innovations, and strategies shaping the future of the sector.

Newrest Maroc, a leader in collective catering in Morocco, and COPAG (the Agricultural Production and Management Cooperative), based in Taroudant, have maintained an exceptional partnership for over 10 years. This collaboration, rooted in shared values of quality, sustainability, and social commitment, highlights Newrest’s excellence in managing a responsible and reliable supply chain.

For the second consecutive year, Newrest participated in the SEOGS 2025 (Suriname Energy, Oil & Gas Summit and Exhibition). This event, which brings together major global and regional players in the energy sector, serves as a strategic platform to discuss ongoing and upcoming projects, particularly in the context of Suriname’s offshore resource development.

Antofagasta Minerals has just awarded Newrest Chile a recognition for the increase in the female workforce. Antofagasta Minerals is one of the ten largest copper producers in the world. In Chile, they maintain four mining operations, and Newrest is providing services in three of them: Zaldívar, Antucoya, and Centinela.

Newrest was present at EXPOMIN in Chile, the largest mining trade fair in Latin America and one of the most important worldwide. The event stands out as a space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders in the mining sector.

Newrest Angola continues to excel in safety and operational performance. Recent achievements highlight the Group’s commitment to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards in offshore sites.

In March 2025, Yannick Mouloungui, Deputy Director of Operations, visited the local communities in the Yenzi camp (city of Gamba) to assess the performance of the catering services provided by Newrest Gabon.
