Launch of an inflight catering contract with Biman Bangladesh Airlines
Newrest teams in Toronto are very proud to have been selected by Biman Bangladesh Airlines to become the inflight catering provider for the opening of its direct route to Dhaka. This is a first for Newrest to collaborate with Bangladesh.
The inaugural flight took place in Toronto on March 29th with the presence of several Biman representatives and Bangladeshi ministers to mark the occasion. A special and festive event as the flight coincided with the Independence Day of Bangladesh, celebrated every March 26.
Newrest was selected to ensure inflight catering for the airline’s route opening from Toronto to Dhaka. Starting in June, the group will provide catering services on three weekly flights. It will occurred with the launch of commercial flights open to passengers.
