Newrest ASL operates international standard Inflight catering facilities, lounges and restaurants at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport and at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
Airline Services & Logistics PLC (ASL) was established in 1996 to provide catering and related services to airlines operating in Nigeria. With its rapid growth and consistent business success, ASL is a publicly listed Company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
In 2015, Newrest Group increased its share of the company’s capital and has taken the operational responsibility of both Lagos’ and Abuja’s inflight kitchens.
Since then, Newrest implemented its standard Policies and Procedures and has invested in the facilities.
The company officially changed the name into Newrest ASL EPZE in July 2016, and to Newrest Nigeria in 2020.
The duty free shop managed by Newrest ASL has been re-designed in June 2016, and has steadily increased its turnover since then.
The Newrest Lagos & Abuja units are ISO 22000:2005 and Halal certified to provide safe and good quality food to its clients.
Both Units rigorously respect national and international safety and hygiene procedures through the Newrest Quality Management system and implemented HACCP processes.
