The inflight catering activity restarts with Newrest and Egyptair in Nigeria

Good news: Newrest is pleased to be able to restart inflight catering operations with Egyptair in Nigeria. The activity is back on track in Lagos (LOS) and Abuja (ABV) airports. This is a new opportunity for the Group to deliver on its promised high-quality and sustainable catering.

As a result of the pandemic the airline industry has declined. Egyptair, as a Newrest’s loyal partner, has trusted the group in Nigeria for several years now. After an initial contract based on Lagos International Airport (LOS) in 2010, the collaboration with the company was extended to Abuja international Airport in 2015. The resumption of flights on the 28th of March 2021 in both airports is a source of great satisfaction for our teams.

By a daily flight from each of the two airports, the first meals served have reminded our passengers of the quality and flavors of Newrest’s service. Passengers were therefore able to enjoy only hot meals in the nigerian sky for now. Newrest reminds you that it remains, within the framework of its values and ethics, careful and involved to the satisfaction of our customers. We invite you to check our CSR engagement on our website for more information.
