Newrest has welcomed His Excellency, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana
On the August 23rd, the team of Newrest Guyana had the chance to welcome His Excellency, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana during his visit on the floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO), Liza Unity.
The whole team had the chance to meet the President to share some words about their experience onboard as a member of Newrest catering team. With a 100% Guyanese crew onboard during the visit, Newrest ensures once again its integration after 3 years OF operation in the country. Newrest is expected to continue to grow in Guyana for many years to come.
During this visit, Carla, Newrest’s Head Baker had the chance to celebrate her birthday in company of His Excellency, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana and the whole crew to ensure some unforgettable memories of this special day.
Newrest Guyana is currently providing services for onshore and offshore clients in Guyana and serves up to 800 meals per day. Newrest’s operational work force is composed by 100 percent of Guyanese citizens, and more than 75 percent of its management positions are hold by Nationals.
