With a 10 Million Sterling Pounds investment, the facility is located in Crawley (2 kilometres from the ramp and a seven minute drive to the aircraft loading area) and will feature the most recent technologies in automated management, security and production, including cobots.
Upon opening during 2019 autumn, inflight catering will be the main activity of Newrest LGW’s inflight kitchen with Long-Haul, Short-Haul, Charter and VIP flight catering operations.
