Newrest entered the market in Chile in 2008 through the B&I Education and Remote catering markets. The opening of Newrest’s Santiago brand new inflight catering kitchen in December 2014 has allowed the development of our activity base expand into inflight catering operations.
The Newrest SCL unit is located in ENEA’s Industrial Park, 6 kilometers from the entrance gate of Santiago’s Airport.
The kitchen layout has been designed by the architects and technical team of the Newrest Group, relying on a strong and worldwide experience in kitchen constructions or renovations.
Apart from inflight catering, the Newrest SCL unit also proudly serves Lounge facilities at Santiago’s international airport.
Today the Newrest Santiago de Chile kitchen prepares an average of 3,000 meals every day. In providing these services, the site meticulously follows the HACCP Quality and Hygiene procedures. This kitchen has been ISO 9001 certified since 2016.
