Newrest SOS signs partnership with Food SHAP
Last December 04, Newrest SOS has officially signed partnership with Food SHAP (Food Safety & Hygiene Academy of the Philippines) as Accredited Course Provider (ACP) of trainings related to food safety.
Food SHAP is the first educational institution in the Philippines specialized on food safety training and examination. They are the accredited partner of Department of Education (DepEd) and Department of Health (DOH) for their food safety education programs and campaigns to develop internationally recognized certificate programs for food handlers channeled through authorized course providers.
As ACP, Newrest SOS will deliver food safety trainings, including Food Safety Compliance Officer (FSCO) Certification – which has been a requirement stated in the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Food Safety Act 2013 (Republic Act No. 10611).
