The latest news from Newrest Gabon

Our monthly Campboss courses

It has now been more than a year since the Newrest Gabon campbosses have completed intensive monthly training sessions.

All those finishing their recovery and preparing to go back on site are invited to the offices of Port Gentil for a day of intensive training. Numerous topics are discussed, such as management (adequacy outputs material with our contracts), the use of Winrest, team management, customer relations, QHSE aspects and corporate culture …

The dietician, the QHSE manager and the HRD are also involved in separate workshops.

The session ends with a knowledge validation test.

Training hygiene and food security

Our HSE team regularly offers training and refreshments to our teams.

This Friday 11th and Saturday 12th of October, our QHSE Department Head, Guyphène MOUELE, intervened as a trainer and facilitator of two training sessions at the request of our service provider ITODI LIGHT (delegation of staff).

The theme on Friday was hygiene and food safety with about twenty participants.

The one on Saturday concerned the maintenance and cleaning technique, which brought together 70 participants.

The people targeted by these training sessions were the staff that we use under service contract on our sites at sea and on land via ITODI LIGHT.

Newrest Gabon brands its gyms on the sites where we operate

Many of our onshore and offshore sites have a gym, so we have used matrix support to dress up our gyms with nutritional tips related to physical activity, a move that is much appreciated by our clients.

Newrest branded posters created for this purpose are also displayed on the walls.
