The inauguration of the new inflight kitchen took place on April 13th, 2015. The Newrest BRU unit is operated as a joint venture together with Servair ; Newrest having the management. Inflight catering is the main activity of Newrest Brussels’ catering unit, with a targeted well balanced portfolio of Long Haul, Regional, VIP and Charter flight operations. The new inflight kitchen has been designed and built in order to feature two physically separated Halal and non-Halal production flows. Newrest Servair is in process to be ISO 9001:2015 certified in 2018.
