Newrest started its history in Canada in opening a catering unit in Montréal in May 2009.
In March 2010 Newrest opened a new kitchen unit in Calgary. Continuing our growth, we have opened a brand new unit in Toronto in February 2015.
Efficient and safe, all facilities are equipped with the latest biometric technology and thermal screening.
In November 2018, Newrest Canada built its first home-based facility in Canada to serve approximately 150 to 200 Air Canada flights per day.
With 4 different units across Canada, Newrest is providing more than 30 different airlines with a well-balanced network of Long Haul, Regional and charter flight operations.
Newrest Canada follows all HACCP and IATA standards, currently being ISO 9001, ISO22000, ISO9001 and Halal certification among others.
