Newrest Chile has begun the industrial cleaning service for AES Gener plants
On August 1st, Newrest Chile has begun the industrial cleaning service for AES Gener at the Angamos Plant and the Cochrane Plant, located in the city of Mejillones, in the region of Antofagasta.
Newrest Chile will manage the cleaning and the washing of the facilities of the operating areas and productive areas of the plants. These cleaning tasks will be carried out with the presence of 33 new Newrest employees. This award corresponds to the strategy to develop and to conserve our client, with whom we work today the catering services for about 650 people daily, general facilities cleaning services, minor maintenance and gardening. At present we will have 95 Newrest employees in the operation.
AES Gener is Chile’s second largest generating company in terms of installed capacity, with 5,795 MW in operation by December 2016, including affiliates and subsidiaries abroad. It is a company that takes advantage of its electricity and knowledge platforms to provide energy and infrastructure solutions in the markets it operates in: Chile, Argentina and Colombia.
