Major renovations and upgrades were conducted between 1996 and 2004, and in June 2008 the Newrest Barcelona unit moved into a brand new facility in order to accommodate the growing market and customer demands.
The new installations are state-of-the-art and efficient.
The 9 850 m2 site prepares an average of 20,000 meals every day. The Newrest Barcelona site meticulously follows the HACCP Quality and Hygiene procedures. The unit includes one kitchen for Western-style cuisine and another for Halal products, and is ISO 9001, ISO 22 0000 and Halal certified.
