The Fort-de-France production unit is the first catering unit open in the West Indies and inaugurated in January 2010. Inaugurated in 2013, the kitchen is particularly dedicated to the production of meals for airlines. The construction and development project of the unit with a surface area of 900sqm was designed and supervised by the technical department of Newrest International which has experimented with numerous renovations and constructions of catering units specializing in the production of meals for airlines.
Today Newrest’s kitchen in Fort-de-France rigorously respects HACCP Quality and Hygiene procedures. This is a site with a “Western” kitchen.
Catering on board is Fort-de-France’s core business due to the European network and charter flights, and most of the unit’s production is dedicated to Catering.
