Newrest’s Cancun inflight kitchen was built in 1998.
The unit is located in the “Central Market” of Cancún on the main road between the airport and the city, only 5 minutes from the airport.
In-flight catering is the main activity of Cancun’s unit serving a well balanced portfolio of airlines (50% short-haul and 50% long-haul), as well as developing outsourced production for hotels and food services companies.
The layout and construction project were designed and supervised by Newrest International Technical Department, experienced in renovation and construction of in-flight kitchens worldwide.
Efficient and safe, HACCP system is implemented to guarantee food safety.
The unit obtained the ISO 9001:2015 certification in May 2017 and renewed in 2020 implementing a management system and generating results in customer satisfaction, process improvement, performance and human development of employees.
